PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system for oil-filled electric equipment that functions effectively in both high- and low-temperature regions of insulating oil. SOLUTION: The cooling system is constituted to cool oil-filled electric equipment by providing an upper connection pipe 13 and a lower connection pipe 12 on the side face of its main body tank 1 which houses a coil 2 and a core 3 and is filled with insulating oil 5 and making the vertical dimension of the opening of the upper connection pipe 13 almost equal to the difference (H1-H2) between the surface level H1 of the insulating oil 5 when the oil 5 is at the highest temperature and that H2 of the oil 5 when the oil 5 is at the lowest temperature. In addition, the height of the upper surface of the opening is made almost equal to the surface level H1 of the oil 5 when the oil 5 is at the highest temperature and the oil 5 is circulated to a radiator 14 connected to the tank 1 through the connection pipes 13 and 12.
