PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead-acid battery greatly improving the battery service life under a high temperature. SOLUTION: Supposing that the height of a positive plate 1 is set to a, the height of a separator 2 is set to b, and the height from the bottom part of the positive plate 1 to the lower surface of a strap 1a is set to c, this lead-acid battery satisfies following conditions of b/a≥1.06 and c/a≥1.13.
