PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording tape cartridge capable of preventing mispositioning of a case relative to cartridge housing means. SOLUTION: When the recording tape cartridge 10 moves a door 50 to the open side of an opening 20 while engaging an operating projection 52 with an engaging projection 68 by accompanying the loading action in an arrow A direction to a driver, a pressing and engaging member 64 of the driver intrudes into a cell retention notch 60 and engaging an engaging surface 60B by pressing a pressing surface 60A. As a result, a case 12 is negated of the moment in an arrow E direction around an engaging section D and the draw of the case out of the driver is obstructed. A slope 60C permits the advance and retreat of the pressing and engaging member 64 to and from the cell retention notch 60. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
