PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an ortho-image easily without requiring a stereo image. SOLUTION: A displacement (distance) between the reference point of an actual image and the reference point of a calculated image is obtained by changing, in order, the inclination anglesθandϕof a camera and an object relative to the reference center point. The angles obtained when the distance becomes minimum become the optimum angles ofθ1 andϕ1, and the ortho-image is generated by using the optimum angles ofθandϕ1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
