<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for room layout plan acquisition and a recording medium which enable a recipient to easily obtain a proper room layout plan. <P>SOLUTION: When a condition section of a room layout plan to be obtained are displayed on a terminal connected through a network and room layout plans whose feature data match with or are similar to conditions inputted or selected through the condition section are selected from a room layout plan database and displayed in a selectable state on the terminal, repeated as many times as specified is a process of calling and displaying on the terminal in the selectable state room layout plans classified according to a starting classification display condition, selecting room layout plans of a selected classification out of the displayed room layout plans and then calling the room layout plans classified according to a next classification display condition among the room layout plans of the selected classification, and displaying them in the selectable state on the terminal.
