PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system whereby a hearing-impaired person and person with hearing loss can recognize information at a prescribed position such as a train, a bus, a vehicle, a department store, a school, a building, a station or an airport. SOLUTION: The communication system 100 of this invention includes: an entry means 101 placed at a prescribed position and for entering character information; a storage means 102 for storing the character information entered by the entry means 101; a transmitter 103 for transmitting the character information from the entry means 101 or the storage means 102 as a radio wave; and a mobile information communication terminal 105 for receiving the character information from the transmitter 103, generating received character information and displaying the information.
