PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dubbing apparatus capable of dubbing data wherein noise and sound jump are less caused. SOLUTION: The dubbing apparatus 10 includes: a correction disabled error management means 21 for managing information associated with a correction disabled error detected by error correction by a CD playback means 11; and a display means 19 for displaying the information stored in the correction disabled error management means 21, and the correction disabled error management means 21 measures the frequency of occurrence of correction disabled errors, stores recording position information on a CD on which information on a portion where the correction disabled error is detected or its vicinity is recorded and the information associated with the frequency of occurrence of the correction disabled errors to a memory 27, and controls the CD playback means 11 or an MD recording playback means 15 on the basis of the stored information.
