<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for setting a two-viewpoint camera capable of making optimum camera settings easily understandable for a user without a troublesome procedure of manually and empirically setting a base line length, a convergence angle, and the amount of shift. <P>SOLUTION: The means for setting two-viewpoint camera includes: a stereoscopic display device designation means; a photographing intention input means; and a means for converting the type of a stereoscopic display device and a photographing intention into camera parameters. There is formed a stereoscopic image to display it in an optimum form for the stereoscopic display device designated by the stereoscopic display device designation means.
