SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTING CG IMAGE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce server and network loads by efficiently distributing optimized CG (computer graphics) data from the server to a client while taking into consideration the display capability of the client and network image quality of a transmission path. SOLUTION: CG data for reproducing three-dimensional computer graphics reproduced by a CG server is stored in a contents server 200 and distributed to the client 500a via a WAN (wide area network) 300a and a proxy server 400a. In such a case, the proxy server converts image data including the CG data cached in a self-server into image data of image quality requested from the client to distribute the converted image data.
