PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection cap device for a bushing of a power appliance capable of protecting the bushing without being restricted by the wall of the bushing. SOLUTION: This protection cap device comprises a bushing protection cap 2 covering the bushing 60 mounted on a case 1 of the power appliance, and a restricting member 9 mounted on an external terminal 61 of the bushing 60 for restricting the bushing protection cap 2. A projecting part 2c is formed on an inner wall 2d of the bushing protection cap 2, and the restricting member is positioned at a closed end side of the bushing protection cap 2 with respect to the projecting part 2c in a state that the bushing protection cap 2 is mounted.
