PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make photographing possible while referring to images corresponding to various scenes and to set photographing conditions while taking into account a place or circumstances where a photographer is located. SOLUTION: A digital camera accesses a server and transmits presents location information to the server (A101). The server receives the location information (B101), searches a plurality of best shot images corresponding to the location information out of a database (B102) and transmits the images (B103). The digital camera receives the plurality of transmitted best shot images (A102) and narrows down corresponding best shot images from the plurality of images (A104) when a date, an azimuth and a weather are inputted (A103; YES). Any one of the plurality of narrowed-down best shot images is selected, the selected best shot image is displayed, and control information added to the best shot image is set to an image processing circuit/CPU (A105).
