PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record information of contents resulting from reserved recording or the like on removable media more easily than conventional. SOLUTION: Control information (agent data) composed of image information and script information is recorded on a removable recording medium (disk media) by a portable recorder/player 1. Then, a home server device 2 carrys out reserved recording based upon the agent data read out of the disk media and records the contents on a built-in hard disk driver. When the disk medium is loaded, data of a recording file corresponding to the agent data recorded on the disk medium are transferred and recorded from the hard disk driver to the disk media. Thus, after the agent data are temporarily recorded on the disk medium, recording reservation operation and an operation for recording the recording file on the disk medium are automatically carried out only by loading the disk medium into the home server device 2.
