<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color matching method for an image print system, which can perform a color matching for mass-printing a color image printed by a personal printer where preliminary color setting matched with a mass-production printer is not performed as an original image based on the original image data. <P>SOLUTION: The profile (mass-production profile) of the mass-production printer is stored, and the profile (original image profile) of the personal printer, by which the original image is printed, is obtained, and a link profile for simulating the print color of the personal printer is prepared by the mass-production printer based on the original image profile and the mass-production profile, and the link profile is set as a profile for the printer driver of the mass- production printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
