<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-line shopping system allowing a credit card user to safely buy a commodity by a credit card in on-line shopping via the Internet or the like. <P>SOLUTION: When the user operates a user terminal 10 for buying the commodity by on-line shopping from an on-line shopping trader 2 via a network 30, the user receives one-time credit card number usable only once from a credit card trader server 20 of the credit card trader instead of a user's credit card number inputted conventionally. When the one-time credit card number is inputted, the commodity is purchased (on-line shopping is carried out).
