PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply plug of general water supply device for a liquid-filled battery in which water supply stoppage can be obtained steadily when supplying water. SOLUTION: The water supply plug 1 of the general water supply device for a liquid-filled battery comprises a water supply plate 15 that is provided on the main body 12, a water supply port 16 of long hole shape that is provided on the water supply plate 15 and continues vertically, a water stopper valve 20 arranged on the front side of the water supply plate 15, a float 25 that floats and sinks in accordance with the height H of the liquid surface of the electrolyte 14 stored in the battery case, and a connecting member 27 that is supported by the float 25 and is inserted from the rear side of the water supply plate 15 into the water supply port 16 and connected to the water stopper valve 20. A mechanism is provide in which, when the float rises upward, the water stopper valve 20 is pulled toward the water supply plate 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
