PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile unit housing a storage battery in which the problem of constraint of the battery shape caused by the space configuration and the problem of temperature rise when the battery is housed in that narrow space in the case housing the storage battery in the space below the seat of the mobile unit are resolved. SOLUTION: In the mobile unit which houses a storage battery in the battery housing part below the seat of the mobile unit, the storage battery is housed so that the group of electrodes (element) is placed horizontally.
