PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of a CPU (Central Processing Unit) in a wireless LAN (Local Area Network). SOLUTION: A DMA (Direct Memory Access) controller 17 for conducting the DMA transfer of an MAC (Memory Access Controller) frame is positioned between a RAM (Random Access Memory) 11 and an MAC layer controller 20 to reduce the load of the CPU. In addition, first control means 31, 32, 33 for transferring additional information on transmission as individual control information on an MAC frame unit to the MAC layer controller from the memory, and a second control means 37 conducting the generation control of the frame to be transmitted and a transmission parameter setting process in a physical layer process based on the additional information on transmission transferred through the first control means, are arranged, so that control in the frame unit is possible in transmitting the MAC frame.
