<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lamp having a red bulb formed by coating red paint on a glass bulb, which is excellent in a luminous flux, chromaticity, and heat-resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicle lamp having a red bulb 16C formed by coating the outer surface of a glass bulb with red paint containing an iron oxide as a red pigment, a red marker lamp ensuring a reasonable luminous flux (120±20% lm), chromaticity (y<0.335 and z<0.008), and heat-resistance (higher than 350°C) of red paint 38 is obtained by adjusting an ion oxide contained in a red paint coating so as to have the average particle size of 10 to 100 nm and PWC concentration of 60 to 90%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
