PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector, which is not detached simultaneously with the interruption of power supply. SOLUTION: The connector 2 is fitted and electrically connected with the other connector 16 using a fitting member 38, for energization. A signal detecting connector 50 is installed to either one of the connectors 2 and 16. There is provided with the other signal detecting connector 55 electrically connectable with a main circuit fitted and electrically connected with the signal detecting connector 50 and energizing the connectors 2 and 16 only at the time of connection. A detachment preventing part 60 engaged with the fitting member 38 for preventing the detachment of the connectors 2 and 16 when fitted with one signal detecting connector 50 is installed to the other signal detecting connector 55.
