摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube having a glass structure which can suppress occurrence of a BSN phenomenon while improving the deflection efficiency of the cathode ray tube and effectively reduce high stress induced to a funnel in the course of improving the deflection efficiency. SOLUTION: In a cathode-ray tube formed by a panel 10 and a funnel 20, the vertical sectional form of a funnel yoke portion of which is not circular and the interior of which is in a vacuum state, the glass structure of the cathode-ray tube satisfies the relationship of 0.5<Th/Td<1.01, wherein Td is a thickness of a diagonal portion in any vertical section between a reference line (RL) and a neck seal line (NSL), and Th is a thickness of a long side portion in the vertical section.
