<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain the maximum temperature in a power generation cell at an optimal operation temperature or less and to secure effective power generating in a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell stack 10 is provided with power generating cells 12, power collecting electrodes 14 and 16 electrically integrally connected to the prescribed number of power generating cells 12, and first cooling cells 18 interposed between the power collecting electrodes 14 and 16 and cooling the power generating cells 12 with cooling liquid. The first cooling cell 18 is provided with an insulating mechanism having a thermal conductivity of 0.5 W/(m.k) or more for favorably heat-exchanging the heat generated by the power generating cells 12 with the cooling liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
