METHOD FOR DISCRIMINATING MIDAMBLE CODE AND RADIO COMMUNICATION TERMINAL APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for discriminating midamble code and radio communication terminal apparatus capable of discriminating whether or not a radio communication base station apparatus performs transmission diversity with high accuracy.

SOLUTION: An averaging section 107 averages correlation power values between a received signal and a midamble code m(1)(n) obtained by a correlation unit 106 by a plurality of time slots and gives the result to a discrimination section 110. An averaging section 109 averages correlation power values between a received signal and a midamble code m(2)(n) obtained by a correlation unit 108 by a plurality of time slots and gives the result to the discrimination section 110. The discrimination section 110 discriminates whether or not the radio communication base station apparatus 20 transmits the midamble code m(2)(n) on the basis of a ratio of the correlation power values received from the average section 107 to the correlation power values received from the average section 109 so as to discriminate whether or not the radio communication base station apparatus 20 performs the transmission diversity.
