<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system capable of providing the provision information transformed by connecting one provision information from various perspectives to a user. <P>SOLUTION: This information providing system is provided with a data base storing a plurality of provision information in two or more different expression forms, at least two or more different terminal groups by which a user receives the provision information in different expression forms and which are used for transmitting the variety of information from the user, and an information providing server for transmitting one of the provision information stored in the data base according to the demand from the user to one of the terminal groups of the user. The information providing server is provided with a registering table for registering the expression form that every terminal of the user uses to receive the provision information, a history table for storing the use history information of the provision information by every terminal of the user, a discriminating part for discriminating the expression form of the provision information transmitted based on the kind of the terminal, registering table and history table which are specified and the content of the provision information to be transmitted when the provision information specifying a destination terminal from the user is demanded, and a transmitting part for generating and transmitting transmission information based on the discriminating result of the discriminating part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
