PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniature handle switch apparatus easy to confirm a desired switch knob with a blind touch and with a naked eyer and excellent in the operation property. SOLUTION: The handle switch apparatus 1 comprises a casing 11, a circuit board 12 contained in a casing 11, a switch body 13 and a light emitting diode 14, both mounted on the circuit board 12, a switch knob 15, and a return spring 16 of the switch knob 15. There are formed on an outer surface of the switch knob 15 at portions thereon protrusions 17 sensible with a finger and comprising characters, figures, or symbols, or combinations thereof. In the switch knob 15 there is formed a through hole path 18 for radiating illumination light 19 emitted from the light emitting diode 14 to the outside from the outer surface of the protrusions 17.
