PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a movable part and increase its rigidity to increase high-order resonance frequency by adopting a structure, in which a magnet is placed on only one side of a focus coil and a tracking coil. SOLUTION: The movable part 100 has a lens holder 20 that is made of resin and attached with an objective lens 10, a plate-shaped coil unit 60, and a metal substrate holder 90. The substrate holder 90, the coil unit 60 and the lens holder 20 are unified through a plurality of projections 91 of the substrate holder 90. The coil unit 60 has the focus coil 61 and a pair of the tracking coils 62. On only one side of the coil unit 60, a magnet 50 that is dipolarized in a concave-convex shaped is placed. Each of the coils 61 and 62 is placed so that a particular edge of each of the coils 61 and 62 intersects a magnetic flux from the N pole to the S pole of the magnet 50. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
