<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a screen and to efficiently and speedily edit an image. <P>SOLUTION: An editing screen for editing an image resulting from photographing is displayed on editing monitors 51-1 to 51-3 in accordance with the number of users who utilize an image printing apparatus 1. When there is one user, most of an image as an editing target is displayed on the editing monitor 51-2, and a menu of editing tools to be applied to the image is displayed on the editing monitors 51-1 and 51-3. When there are two users, on the other hand, the image as the editing target is displayed on the editing monitors 51-1 and 51-3, and a menu of editing tools to be applied to the image is displayed on the editing monitor 51-2.
