<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demand prediction method and a demand prediction system with improved demand prediction precision. <P>SOLUTION: This demand prediction system is provided with a demand environmental condition information database 5b accumulating demand environmental condition information affecting increase/decrease of a demand for a coming prediction time from a past time, in which an actual result is counted, a base data extraction means 4a extracting base data, from which a variation due to influence of the demand environmental condition information is removed from an actual value of a demand in the past time, a base forecast value extraction means 4c applying a forecast model representing a temporal variation tendency of the demand to the base data for finding prediction values of the base data in the coming prediction time, and a correction processing means 4d performing correction while taking the variation due to the influence of the demand environmental condition information to the prediction values of the base data into consideration for finding a forecast value of the demand in the coming forecast time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
