<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically select information to be offered to consumers within a local area from business information fed from a head office for distributing it to the respective consumers. <P>SOLUTION: An extraction condition of information to be distributed to the local consumers is previously set. A shop management device extracts information satisfying the set extraction condition from information received from a head office system 2, and on the basis of the extracted information, edits distribution information to the local consumers.
