<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic dictionary for easily relating respective pieces of information desired by independent users with each other, and retrieving them. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic dictionary includes: a dictionary storage part for storing as a dictionary a first language information, and a second language information which is retrieved on the basis of the first language information; an input part for inputting the first language information; a retrieving part for retrieving the second language information from the dictionary storage part which corresponds to the first language information inputted from the input part; an output part for outputting the first language information inputted from the input part, and the second language information retrieved on the basis of the first information; a related language information storage part for storing the series of pieces of first language information continuously inputted from the input part as related language information; and a related language information providing part for outputting one of the first language information among pieces of the related language information stored in the related language information storage part together with the other first language information from the related language information to an output part when any first language information is re-inputted from the input part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
