PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna unit lighting protecting structure which is easy to mount and maintain. SOLUTION: In an antenna unit 2 to be mounted on a mounting member 5 by interposing a support fitting 13 between the antenna unit 2 and the mounting member 5, the antenna unit is structured of an antenna 3 integrated with a communication apparatus 4. The lightning-protecting structure includes, on the top of a radome for the antenna 3, a lightning-protecting unit provided with support arms to hold the lightning-protecting unit on the radome top by sandwiching. The antenna unit 2 is fitted with the mounting member 5 by the support fitting 13, and at the same time, the lightning-protecting unit of the antenna unit 2 can be mounted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
