PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make data communication efficient in a radio communication system in which equipment for a base station houses a plurality of equipment for a communication station and which radios downstream communication from the equipment for the base station to the equipment for the communication station and upstream communication from the equipment for the communication station to the equipment for the base station. SOLUTION: Any group of a plurality of groups conducting reception or transmission at the same time period is assigned to each of the equipment for the communication station housed in the equipment for the base station. The communication time period is differentiated between the downstream communication and the upstream communication in each group. Time division is applied to the respective downstream communication and upstream communication between the equipment for the base station and the plurality of equipment for the communication station with respect to the plurality of group by using a frame containing a region for transmitting data. In this case, in one or both of the downstream communication and the upstream communication, data are communicated by using all the regions for transmitting the data contained in the frame as one data channel in accordance with a communication status.
