The tuning method comprises, during switching the supply between first and second fuels, of switching the supply of a fraction of the engine's cylinders. A corrective coefficient of a supply parameter of the second fuel of the cylinders' fraction is determined in order make this parameter comply with a corresponding reference parameter of the engine during supply of the engine with the first fuel. The corrective coefficient is then applied to the second fuel of the cylinders' fraction.
