<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system, a communication method, and its program for deciding the validity/invalidity of a communication environment between a printer and information terminal equipment, and for allowing a user himself or herself to set a decision criteria for deciding the validity/invalidity in accordance with his or her purpose. <P>SOLUTION: This print system consists of a plurality of pieces of information terminal equipment 12 to 15. In the printer 11, a desired parameter is set from among a plurality of parameters for testing a communicating environment, a threshold corresponding to the set parameter is set, and data for testing the communicating environment based on the set parameter and threshold are read from an ROM part 102, and transmitted to the information terminal equipment 12, and the data for testing the communicating environment returned from the information terminal equipment 12 are compared with the data for testing the communicating environment transmitted to the information terminal equipment 12 to decide whether the communication environment is good or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
