<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to intuitively grasp information transmission and reception. <P>SOLUTION: For instance, in on-line shopping through the Internet, the user transmits information such as a credit card number to a server of a mail order provider that accepts an order from his owned client computer when the user orders merchandise. In such a case, the client computer displays an object 472 that is different in accordance with the significance of information to be transmitted and moves the display position of the object 472 from an information providing agent 471 to be a user representative toward a store agent 406 to be a representative for the mail order provider. By the display, the user can recognize that the information is transmitted to the server and the significance of the information to be transmitted.
