PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera having a sure sealing structure and a dust-proof function by using a fixing means for surely fixing and supporting a dust-proof member placed in front of an imaging element and a seal structural section, thereby simplifying the configuration and realizing simplicity on manufacture. SOLUTION: The camera includes: the imaging element 27 for obtaining an image signal; the dust-proof member 21 placed opposed to a front side of the imaging element at a prescribed interval; an exciting member 22 placed at the circumferential part of the dust-proof member to provide vibration to the dust-proof member; a sealing structural part configured to seal a space by the circumferential part of the dust-proof member and the imaging element to configure the nearly enclosed space at a part formed by making both the imaging element and the dust-proof member oppose to each other; a support structural part 20 for pressing the circumferential part of the dust-proof member to suppress and fix the dust-proof member with respect to the sealing structural part; and an image signal processing circuit 16a for converting an image signal obtained from the imaging element into a signal of a recording form.
