PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast system for realizing display switching of a PPV (Pay Per View) program taking into account viewers. SOLUTION: A program information creating apparatus 13 of this invention broadcasts a PPV program and a promotion program of the PPV program at the same time and broadcasts information linking the mutual programs to each other included in both program information items of the PPV program and the promotion program. A broadcast receiver 20 selects viewing of the promotion program linked to the PPV program when not satisfying the view condition of the PPV program during viewing. Thus, the receiver 20 eliminates a sense of displeasure that the screen reaches blackout when viewing the PPV program not satisfying its viewing condition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
