PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head and its manufacturing method that can improve the productivity, using an automatic connecting machine to connect the terminals of the head with the terminals on a terminal strip on the support substrate. SOLUTION: A conductor is erected from the jointing surface of a pair of cores 2, 3 and is cut in the thickness direction. The cut surfaces are used as connector terminals 17, 18.
