PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user belonging to one contents server to quickly obtain contents held by another contents server. SOLUTION: When a server B having a function for managing e-mail to the user B receives a message to the user B, the server B extracts a contents ID for specifying contents C1 described in the message, and immediately receives the contents C1 from a server A holding the contents C1 if the contents C1 shown by the contents ID are not stored in the server B. Then, when the user B tries to read the contents C1 in response to a request from a user A, the contents C1 can be prepared in the server B to which the user B belongs with a relatively high probability so that the user B can quickly read the contents C1.
