METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DATA MULTIPLEXING SYSTEM, DATA MULTIPLEXING SYSTEM, SUB-STORAGE DEVICE AND PROGRAM FOR SUB-STORAGE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data multiplexing system equipped with a plurality of master storage devices and sub-storage devices for improving the processing capability of the whole system. SOLUTION: This data multiplexing system consists of the plurality of master storage devices connected to a host computer and sub-storage devices to which those master storage devices are connected to hold data in multiplexed conditions. When it is detected that the condition of sub-data arrival from a certain master storage device reaches a certain set condition, the sub-storage device either instructs the master storage device to stop the transfer of the sub-data, or processes the sub-data not time-sequentially on the basis of the time stamp but writes the sub-data in a storage volume in the order of arrival, or prevents the host computer from transmitting the data to the master storage device.
