<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system for enhancing the degree of freedom of the network configuration. <P>SOLUTION: At least one of information apparatuses receives an instruction from a user, recognizes logical address information defined independently of the type of a utilized communication interface as information for particularizing a destination of the received instruction, converts the recognized logical address information into unique physical address information defined in relation with the type of the utilized communication interface and transmits the received instruction to itself by a local loop back or other information apparatus particularized by the unique physical address obtained by the conversion.
