<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for inputting and processing various application documents or the like by using an electronic pen for inputting not only input data but also identification information only by using the electronic pen. <P>SOLUTION: As for this slip for an electronic pen, when a user enters necessary items within an entry frame by using the ink pen unit of the electronic pen, the electronic pen reads dot patterns on the slip in accordance with the movement of the electronic pen, and acquires the electronic data of the items entered by the user. At the time of inputting identification information such as ID by using the electronic pen, the user enters a line crossing a band-shaped pattern by using the ink pen unit. The dot patterns of the part of the band- shaped pattern can not be read by the reading unit of the electronic pen so that the data can not be acquired by the electronic pen. As a result, the data to be acquired by the electronic pen are turned to be a kind of bar-shaped pattern where the data of the part corresponding to the band-shaped pattern are missing. Therefore, the predetermined identification information is preliminarily assigned to each band-shaped pattern to make it possible for the user to input the corresponding identification information by tracing the band-shaped pattern with the electronic pen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
