PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a capacitor which is excellent in holding electrolyte to reduce internal resistance. SOLUTION: The separator for a capacitor comprises ion exchange resin and cellulose. The ion exchange resin is preferred to have a multi-core sea-island structure.
