A posture detection device 4 for a chair 1, the detection means comprises a first sensor 5 arranged to detect pressure above a first predetermined threshold on a seat 2 of the chair 1, a second sensor 6 arranged to detect pressure above a second predetermined threshold on a back support 3 of the chair 1 and a sound io generation device 8; whereby the sound generation device 8 generates a sound when pressure is detected above the first predetermined threshold and pressure is detected below the second predetermined threshold, which indicates an incorrect sitting posture. |
