The invention relates to a method in reeling up, in which method a paper web (W) or the like is reeled o a reel spool (2) by means of a reeling cylinder (1), and air remaining between the reeling cylinder (1) and the web (W) is removed via holes (5) in the shell of the reeling cylinder (1) inside the reeling cylinder (1). The air is removed via an opening (6) located in the end of the reeling cylinder (1) in such a manner that air is removed from inside the reeling cylinder (1) by means of a rotor that is arranged to be rotatable. The invention also relates to a reel-up and a reeling cylinder.
