An electronic device adapted to be easily assembled without requiring screws (machine screws) or the like to effect the integral joining of casings. This electronic device comprises legs (23) disposed in the vicinity of the open-side base end of a front casing (2) and projecting toward the open side of a back casing (3), insertion holes (31) disposed in the vicinity of the base end on the open side of the back casing (3) and allowing the legs (23) of the front casing (2) to be inserted therein to integrally fix the two casings (2, 3), a lid engaging means (33A, 41) for locking a battery lid (4) to the back casing (3), and a fixing means (6) for integrally fixing the back casing (3), to which at least the battery lid (4) is locked by slide operation in a particular direction, and the battery lid (4) to each other.
