A method of treating a subject diagnosed as having a disease associated with reduced IFN- gamma activity, comprising administering to the subject an IFN- gamma activity stimulating amount of a peptide selected from the peptides described. A method of treating a subject diagnosed as having a disease associated with reduced IL-2 activity, comprising administering to the subject an IL-2 activity stimulating amount of a peptide selected from the peptides described.
