The position regulation device uses a sensor detecting the actual lifting position of the tool (2,3,4) relative to the carrier element (11,19,20) for supporting the tool, mounted on the tractor (1), with calculation of the difference between the actual and the required position, for regulation of a lifting device for raising or lowering the carrier element. An Independent claim for an agricultural machine with at least 2 tool position regulation devices is also included.
