The telescopic strut (1) consists of inner (4) and outer (2) and intermediate (3) sliding tubular elements. The length of the strut may be adjusted to fit into a chosen position in the modular framework. The strut may have two end-pieces (5,6) at one end, with fastening disks (7,8) with eight holes in two different sizes. There are disks (9c,9d) on the central portion and two further disks (9a,9b) at the other end.
