An electronic camera comprising an imaging unit for continuously imaging an object to create RAW data on a plurality of frames, an evaluating unit for evaluating the quality of the RAW data, and a recording unit for selecting data rated high out of the RAW data on the basis of the quality evaluation by evaluating unit and storing the selected data.
