A linearly compliant, flexible, resilient and flat speaker damper (1) connected between the frame and the cone (Fig. 6) of the speaker with electrically conductive paths (21, 23) applied to the damper to conduct the signal to be applied to the voice coil of the speaker. A method for linearly compliant audio speaker damping and a method for application of voice coil conductors on the damper.
